A new gathering in Madrid brought together religious representatives, cultural figures and civic voices Diversity to celebrate the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The meeting included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and Denise González. Speakers offered different experiences and viewpoints on how mutual knowledge can reduce prejudice.
Throughout the gathering, participants addressed themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, said that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when supported by education and dialogue.
